Magdalene’s Blessing Pure Artisan Blend Oil

$18.00$30.00

In the fall of 2020 we sadly had to report that we could no longer supply this beautiful blend due to the extreme scarcity and inflation of prices for Spikenard. Really beautiful Spikenard is rare and hard to find.

.

The lovely oil mentioned in the Bible as a bridal gift, and the one used to anoint the feet of Christ is NOT the terribly dark and pungent aroma commonly available today.  Those pungent oils are distilled from roots and stems rather than leaves and flowers.  I will not use those distillations, because they mislead our perceptions far away from the celebrated use of this special essential oil.
.

But now it is a happy day that I can announce the return of Magdalene’s Blessing to our shelves.  The timing for its return could not be better to soothe and comfort a trouble and conflicted world.

.

This blend radiates beautifully with Christ Scent and Blessed Mother to build an exquisite integrated aroma for the Holy Family.  Blessed Mother is a special blend of Myrrh and Rose, while Magdalene’s Blessing is composed of Spikenard, Myrrh, and Rose.

Description

Magdalene’s Blessing  is one of the most beautiful, rich, and evocative blends of essential oil that we offer.  There is nothing else like it.  It’s principle ingredient is Spikenard, which is legendary in the Bible as a beautiful treasure, a bridal gift, and the oil with which Mary Magdalene anointed the feet of Jeshua the night before his arrest.  Its therapeutic value is considered to be reduction of anxiety, desensitizing pain, and inoculation against fear.  Few emotions derange our minds and lower our immunity as much as fear, which is at the base of all our lower states of being and ill health.  There is a sublime quality to this beautiful fragrance that lifts us to heights where only love commands.
