Gift of the Magi rare essential oil blend

We know from the Biblical story that Wise Men from distant lands followed the Christmas star to find and pay tribute to the newborn king of the Jews.  It had been revealed to them in prophecy that this child would one day change the world.  One thing  for sure was that his birth would be seen as a threat to those in power, Therefore he must be protected and hidden until he was old enough to activate his destiny. To insure his health, they brought Myrrh and Frankincense, which were worth a literal fortune.  Only the wealthiest people in the ruling class could own these.  These spices, brought as incense, were actually bankable for financial purposes since there were no stable currencies in the ancient world.

We are not told in what form gold may have been carried, whether coins, bouillon, or dust.   New research suggest it may have been something else.  In those days the metal of gold was not a currency and was less valuable than copper, which was essential for creating bronze.  On the other hand, Turmeric was actually used for currency in India.  For that reason and its bright yellow color it was often referred to as the Gold of India.  Only the very wealthy could afford it, and for more than 2,000 years before the birth of Jeshua it stood as a pillar of importance in Ayruvedic medicine.

Whether or not that theory has merit, we cannot include the metal of gold in this blend, and Turmeric is a very healing alternative that will only accelerate the benefits of Frankincense and Myrrh.
